Grayling Viking Band Boosters

The Grayling Viking Band Boosters (GVBB) has a long tradition of providing assistance, both physical and monetary, to the Grayling Viking Bands.  The past few years, the GVBB has assisted students in attending our Grayling HS Marching Band Camp (held at Lake Superior State University), band trips to Cedar Point/Detroit Zoo and Toledo Zoo, Toronto, Chicago, Washington DC, St. Louis MO, and Disney World.  

 

Our High School Band Uniforms that are currently used by our bands:

  • Our current marching band uniforms were purchased in 1988 and are in outstanding shape, due to the efforts of the parents that volunteer to help each and every performance with the uniforms.  

  • Our current concert band dresses were purchased by the GVBB in 2012.  

  • The boys tux uniforms were purchased in 2001.

President

Andrea Binert

Mrs. Binert is in her first year serving as President of the Grayling Viking Band Boosters.  

 

She has two students in the band program:  

  • Mollie (Clarinet, Class of 2017)

  • Zora (Flute, Class of 2019)

Vice-President

 

is in her first year serving as Vice-President of the Grayling Viking Band Boosters.  

 

She has one student in the band program:  

  • Jazlyn Jamison (Clarinet, Class of 2017)

Secretary

Renee Wojdan

Renee Wojdan is returning after a year away as our Secretary of the Grayling Viking Band Boosters!  

 

There is one Wojdan family members in band:

  • Andrew (Cornet, Class of 2018)

Treasurer

JCheri Helsel

Mrs. Helsel is starting her first year as Treasurer.  

 

She has one student as a member of the band:

  • Lauren Helsel (Alto Saxophone, Class of 2020)
